I'M LAUREN. i wanna get to know you but the internet is a weird place so here, i'll go first.

I have an overly attached pup named Latte. Giving him the best life ever is the ultimate goal, and let's just say he has expensive taste.

I live in Seattle with my boyfriend James, my Tinder love. He's actually the only person I've ever met from the app, and here we are 7 years later. I'm not sure whose ass trapped whose.

I'm down for both road trips and spa trips – what can I say, I'm a sweet lil mix of adventurous and bougie.

When I ask how you're doing, I really want to know how you're really doing. I don't accept one word answers!

I like my wine red, my beer dark, and my coffee iced. I like hot cheetos + goldfish, and eat way too much feta and pizza for a girl who is lactose sensitive.  Maybe I'm an oversharer. Maybe.

My boyfriend told me for years that I should be a wedding photographer. He just thought it was my calling. Frankly, I had no interest in photographing weddings. It just didn't seem like something I would like, because I wanted to be out there photographing landscapes instead.

Fast forward to my first wedding that my boyfriend finally got me to agree to (as long as he stopped bringing it up). It was the sweetest intimate backyard wedding with tacos, hilarious + heartfelt toasts, lots of dancing, and a bonfire to end the night. It was perfectly them. And I never had so much fun working. And when I came home after photographing that wedding, James asked me, "How was it?" Giiiirl you already know the rest of this story. My soul was on fire. I found what I was meant to do.

oh hi hello

I freakin' love weddings. but i didn't always.

SINCE THEN, I'VE grown and learned – there's more to love.

As I photographed more and more weddings, I realized what I actually loved about them. It was more than just the happy wedding vibes.

It's the moment you put on your wedding dress and look in the mirror.
The nerves, right before you see your partner for the first time.
The quiet, before you walk down the aisle.
The tight hugs, from your people who love you most.
The tears, from the intimate vows to the thoughtful toasts.
The dancing, by mom and grandma, who are ready to get lit.

Photography is more than just how the day looked. It's about how the day felt. And how it really was. It's about the hand squeezes, sweaty palms, snorty laughs, quiet moments. The way your love looks at you when you're not looking.  The way you slowly dance, holding each other tight, like no one's watching.
It's about making you feel celebrated, loved, beautiful, and seen. And that's what I love most about what I do.
